A man has admitted carrying a knife during an incident in Old Leigh where an 18-year-old died.
Alfie Pollard, 18, who is a serving prisoner, appeared in Southend Magistrates’ Court on Monday September 20 and admitted possession of a bladed article.
He also admitted possession of a Class B drug – cannabis.
Luke Bellfield died of injuries he sustained near to the Peterboat pub, High Street, Old Leigh on February 26.
Pollard will be sentenced at Basildon Crown Court from the week commencing October 18.
