Man and woman attacked in raid on Chelmsford property

Police are investigating following an assault in Chelmsford where two people were injured

Two men wearing balaclavas forced their way into an address in Burgess Field at around 1.20am today (Wednesday June 30).

A man inside the address sustained stab wounds which have been described as ‘superficial’ while a woman was also assaulted.

The attackers have been described as about 5ft 9ins tall wearing black clothes and blue latex gloves.

It was reported one had a Stanley knife and the other had a kitchen knife.

Officers need to speak to anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage.
