Man arrested following disturbance in Rayleigh

A man has been arrested and officers are appealing for information following a disturbance at a pub in Rayleigh.

Police were called to the Spread Eagle on High Street at 7.55pm on Saturday April 6.

It was reported a man was being aggressive towards customers and door staff and making threats.

A 30 year-old man from Rayleigh has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker, a public order offence, and possession of cannabis.
