Man charged in connection with Chelmsford drugs investigation

A man has been charged as part of an investigation into the supply of Class A drugs into Chelmsford.

Police executed a warrant off Rothbury Road, in Chelmsford, shortly before 6am on Tuesday March 23.

During a search, they found a significant amount of cash as well as what they believe to be a significant amount of Class A drugs.

Erik Vig, 25, of Exmoor Close, Chelmsford, has been charged with:
• Possession with intent to supply crack cocaine
• Possession with intent to supply heroin
• Being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine
• Being concerned in the supply of heroin
• Possession of criminal property

He appeared at Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning (March 23) and is next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on April 20.
