Man injured following altercation in Billericay

Detectives investigating a serious assault in Billericay are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident took place in the area of Grange Parade at around 3.20pm on Tuesday June 11.

It was reported two men had been involved in an altercation at a Tesco store in the area.

A short time later, on a field near the shop, one of the men was struck with an item believed to be a metal pole, and left with serious injuries.
