Man is remanded charged with sexual offences in Southend

A man has been charged with three sexual offences against three women.

Albert Stone, 29, of no fixed address, was arrested on Thursday April 2 after one of the women reported being assaulted in Chalkwell Park, Southend, at about 6.10am.

He has now been charged with one count of assault by penetration and two counts of sexual assault.

The alleged offences happened between Tuesday March 31 and Thursday April 2 in Southend.

Stone appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today, Saturday April 4. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday May 1.

The police investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Adult Sexual Abuse Investigation Team on 101.
