A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Barking.
Jamie Reid, 31, of Glenthorne Road, W6, was arrested on Friday, June 19 and subsequently charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent and possession of ammunition.
He appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, June 20 and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday, July 17.
Previously, Rushelle McLaughlin, 26, of Northolt, Middlesex, was charged on Monday, June 15, with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
She has been remanded in custody to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, 14 July.
The charges follows an incident on Thursday, June 4 in Wilmington Gardens, where officers located two injured men.
One, aged 24, had suffered serious gunshot injuries and he remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The other man had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
A 27-year-old man arrested at an address in West Ealing on Tuesday, June 9, has been released under investigation.
