Police are investigating following an assault in Tilbury last night where a man sustained stab wounds.
It was reported two men gained entry to an address in Thackeray Avenue at around 8.45pm on Tuesday October 1.
A man in his 40s sustained stab wounds and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police believe this was a targeted incident with no wider risk to the public.
Two 24 year-old men were later arrested on suspicion of GBH.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw anything, has any CCTV or dash cam footage or any other information to contact them on 101 quoting incident 1245 of 1 October or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
