Man suffers stab wound in Basildon car park

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Basildon.

Officers were called to Eastgate Shopping Centre car park in Southernhay shortly after 3.45pm yesterday, Friday December 10 where a man in his 20s was found with a stab wound.

He was taken to hospital and is in a stable condition.

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call 101, citing incident 795 of December 10.
