Man sustains stab wounds after collision and fight in Southend

Police are appealing for information following an incident in Southend where a man sustained stab wounds.

They received a call shortly before 1.35am today (Saturday February 4) reporting a collision involving two vehicles in Cranley Road and a fight involving people who had been inside them.

One man was left with stab wounds to his stomach while another sustained injuries to his arm and side.

They were both taken to hospital for treatment

The attackers left in a vehicle and enquiries to identify and locate them and the vehicle are ongoing.
