Mike + the Mechanics return in 2025

Mike + The Mechanics return to Southend next year as part of their ‘Looking Back – Living The Years 2025 Tour’.

The show at the Cliffs Pavilion on Tuesday April 1 2025, will see them play their hits including Over My Shoulder, The Living Years and All I Need Is A Miracle as well as drift into some of much loved classic tracks by Mike Rutherford’s “other” band.

Originally formed in 1985 “as a side project to Genesis”, Mike + The Mechanics originally featured Sade Cafe vocalist, the late Paul Young and Paul Carrack as frontmen, and together, they achieved huge commercial success throughout the 80s and 90s, going on to sell more than 10 million albums.

In 2011, Mike started writing songs again, inviting singers Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar to join him and they have remained together since.
