Motorcyclist injured in Basildon collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Basildon.

Officers responded to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle at the junction of Vange Hill Drive and Clayhill Road, Basildon, shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday June 8.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man, 30s, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed whilst we carried out investigative work and reopened at 7.30pm.
