West Bromwich Albion v Tottenham Hotspur – Premier League – The Hawthorns – Sunday Noon – Preview
Tottenham head to the Black Country looking to keep pace with the Premier League leaders by ending their recent Hawthorns hoodoo.
The Lilywhites have failed to win any of their last three visits to West Bromwich Albion but will be hopeful of ending that particular sequence against a side without a league victory to their name to date.
“You know, I don’t believe in tradition at all, but in the last three times Tottenham played there, they couldn’t win for some reason,” Jose Mourinho told www.tottenham hotspur.com.
“The reason is it’s always difficult there, so we have to go with great focus, with ambition and with respect for a strong opponent that needs points.
“Now we try to rest the best we can because Saturday we are on the move again to play Sunday in the early kick-off.”
Mourinho will revert to a more familiar line-up following Thursday’s UEFA Europa League victory over Ludogorets, with Hugo Lloris, Heung-Min Son and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg all expected to return to the starting eleven.
