VANARAMA NATIONAL LEAGUE SOUTH outfit, Chelmsford City, has confirmed that Ollie Muldoon will remain at the Melbourne Community Stadium after agreeing on a new deal with the club.
The 25-year-old central midfielder linked up with the Clarets from Maidstone United a year ago and made 21 appearances – finding the net once. After starting at Charlton Athletic, the player enjoyed loan spells with Gillingham, Dagenham & Redbridge and Braintree Town. He also returned to Gillingham on as short-term deal at the back end of the 2016/17 campaign.
Speaking to www.chelmsfordcity.com, Clarets boss, Robbie Simpson, enthused: “I know Ollie has had interest from teams in the league above, so I’m delighted he’s not only shown loyalty to Chelmsford City FC but also belief in that he can achieve the success he desires with us too.”
Meanwhile, Muldoon added: “I hope this season we can get Chelmsford promoted as it’s overdue. That’s my main aim.”
