Vanarama National League

Dagenham & Redbridge made it three wins out of four with a 3-1 victory at Dorking Wanderers to move up into thirteenth place in the table. 

Dan Gallagher’s own goal put Daggers 1-0 up in the fourth minute before Harry Ottaway’s equaliser brought Wanderers level nine minutes later.

Inih Effiong put Daggers back into the lead just after the half-hour mark before Josh Hare sealed the three points when heading home Myles Weston’s cross to make it 3-1 in the seventy-eighth minute.

Vanarama National League North

Struggling Bishop’s Stortford overcame Buxton 3-1 with goals from Tosin Olefemi, Jack Thomas and Zain Walker to register their fourth win of the season but Blues remain deep in the relegation zone, six points from safety.      

Vanarama National League South

Braintree Town romped to an impressive 4-1 victory over Havant & Waterlooville at the Rare Breeds Meat Co. Stadium with Will Davies, Shaq Coulthirst, Aaron Blair and Reggie Lambe netting for the Iron. Substitute Billie Busari scored the Hawks’ consolation near the end. 

Chelmsford City shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at Tonbridge Angels, for whom Scott Wagstaff opened the scoring in the seventh minute. Luke Jenkins netted the Clarets equaliser just after the half-hour mark. 

High-flying Aveley overcame Weston-Super-Mare 2-0 at Parkside with goals from Sydney Ibe and Eduino Vaz as the Millers maintained their recent good form to remain second in the table behind leaders Yeovil Town.       

Pitching-In Isthmian League Premier Division

Bradley Stevenson netted Billericay Town’s winner six minutes from time as they came through to claim a 2-1 victory over Bognor Regis Town at New Lodge. Ade Azeez opened the scoring just after the half-hour mark before Tommy-Lee Higgs equalised for the Rocks in the seventieth minute.

Ryan Scott scored twice in the second half as Hornchurch maintained their lead at the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Enfield Town.

Haringey Borough and Dulwich Hamlet shared the points in a 1-1 draw at Coles Park. Ayuk Tarh gave the visitors the lead in the fifty-eighth minute before Alfred Bawling netted Borough’s equaliser nine minutes later.

Hashtag went down to a 2-1 home defeat to Hastings United. 

Jason Fregene put Hastings 1-0 up in the twenty-sixth minute before Tag’s Misha Djemali equalised directly following the restart. Tayo Oyebola hit what proved to be the visitor’s winner just after half-time.   

Pitching-In Isthmian League North

League leaders Felixstowe & Walton United dominated a one-sided game to take the points in a 5-1 win over Enfield at the AGL Arena. Callum Harrison netted a hat-trick – including one from the spot – whilst Charlie Warren and Samuel Ford were also on target for the Seasiders. Joshua Bardouleau struck an eighty-sixth-minute consolation goal for Enfield.

Lowestoft Town crushed Heybridge Swifts 6-0 at Crown Meadow with Jake Reed (2) Kyle Haylock, Adam Hipperson, Quba Gordon (own goal) and Tom Fitzgerald all on the scoresheet.

Maldon & Tiptree continued their recent good form with a 5-1 win over Wroxham at the Maldon Stadium. George Smith netted a hat-trick – including a penalty, with Louis Britton and former Southend United youngster Harry Phillips also scoring for the Jammers. Rio Abodunde hit a consolation goal for Wroxham in the seventy-fifth minute.

Basildon United overcame Redbridge 2-1 at the TLM Environmental Stadium. Michael Bareck and Samir Ali put Bees 2-0 up late on before Oscar Shelvey-Negus pulled one back six minutes before the end.

Brightlingsea Regent saw off the challenge of lowly Grays Athletic with a 2-1 win at North Road. Jake Thompson and an own goal by Michael Finneran saw Regent go 2-0 up prior to the break before Grays pulled one back from Samuel Bantick’s spot kick just after the hour mark. 

Essex Senior League Premier Division

Tilbury enjoyed a 1-0 win over Buckhurst Hill at Chadfields to move to the top of the table. Harry Donovan netted the Dockers winner.

Takeley, with goals by George Frodsham, Caoilian McGettigan and Jordan Wescott came through to earn a fine 3-2 away win at Frenford, for whom Roy Stevens and substitute Ben Bridgeman were both on target.

Saffron Waldon Town and Barking drew 2-2 at Catons Lane. Matthew Hurley and sub-Darnell Mavanga-Kitambo netting for Town with Gregory Akeple and Luke Hirst scoring for Blues.

Daniel Rowe (2) and Harry Mann were Little Oakley’s goal scorers in their 3-0 win over Great Wakering.

Romford, with goals from Junior Luke and Charlie Morris, overcame Ilford 2-1 at The Rookery, East Thurrock. Oliseh Okuguni scored for Ilford. 

ProKit UK Essex Olympian Football League

Jason Hallett netted four goals as Harold Wood Athletic hammered Toby 7-3 at Harold Wood Park. Ryan Dear (2) and James Pottle were also on the scoresheet for Athletic. 

Rhys Wilson and substitutes Sonny Leeks and Obakeng Molefi were Toby’s scorers.

Old Southendian enjoyed an overwhelming 6-1 away win over ten-man Springfield – who had Junior Lawrence sent off – with Mitchell Ali hitting a hat-trick and Ruari McIntyre, Jack Mead & substitute Nathan Elgie all also scoring. William Wheeler scored Springfield’s consolation goal.

Catholic United with goals from Aaron Baldwin (2) and Joe O’Kane drew 3-3 with Kelvedon Hatch at the Len Forge Centre. Reece Simpson (2) and Luke Skinner were on target for Hatch.

Shenfield Association came through to take the points with a 3-2 win over Runwell Sports at St Martin’s School as Tommy Sykes scored twice & Samuel Lock also netted for Shenfield. Kewin Kwiek and Callum Leahy hit Runwell’s goals.
