Colchester United have confirmed that striker, Luke Norris has joined Sky Bet League Two rivals, Stevenage on a permanent deal.
Norris netted 23 times in 96 appearances for the U’s. The 27-year-old has amassed more than 300 appearances in a career which has seen him represent no less than eight clubs, including Brentford, Swindon Town, Gillingham and Northampton Town.
Speaking to www.cu-fc.com, U’s Director of Football, Tony Humes said: “You always knew what you were getting with Luke.
“He worked hard whenever he played, and that hard work extended to the training ground with his strong and quick recoveries from injuries.
“As we have said in the past, we’ll always look at it carefully if a deal comes along that suits all parties. In this case, it does and we thank Luke for his efforts here and wish him all the best for the future.”
