Rochford Town v Old Southendian Reserves – Essex Olympian League Division Two – Rochford Recreation Ground – Report
Rochford Town 1-6 Old Southendian Reserves
Nico Dubouchet led the way with four goals as Old Southendian’s second string recorded a resounding 6-1 Essex Olympian League Division Two triumph over struggling Rochford Town.
The Old Boys served notice of their promotion credentials, dominating the contest from start to finish.
Andy Turner and George Borley chipped in with further goals. Old Boys boss, Rob Johnson, told Yellow Sport; “It was a thoroughly professional job.
“Rochford had their moments so was important we didn’t slack off. But we got the third goal relatively early in the second half and that more or less killed the game.
“Three wins in a row now, and we are finally starting to display our true colours. We have a couple of important games coming up. We need to continue our good form.”
