Leyton Orient has confirmed the signing of striker, Harry Smith from Northampton Town for an undisclosed fee.
Smith becomes Kenny Jackett’s sixth summer signing – the 26-year-old penning a two-year deal with the Breyer Group Stadium outfit.
“I met with Kenny for a chat and straight away I knew the club’s ambitions,” he told www.leytonorient.com
“That’s only one thing and that’s promotion. I’ve been involved in a couple and there’s no better feeling, so, hopefully, this season we can achieve that.”
Smith previously represented Millwall, Swindon Town (loan) and Macclesfield Town before joining the Sixfield Stadium club; “This season I want to help the team as much as I can. Our team objective, like I said, is to achieve promotion,” he added.
