Antony Papadopoulos bagged the only goal of the game as Leyton Orient got their Papa John’s Trophy campaign off to a winning start at the Breyer Group Stadium.
Papadopoulos, along with goalkeeper, Rhys Byrne were handed their competitive debuts by the East Londoners – the former crashing home the O’s late winner after Dan Kemp had fashioned an opening.
Leyton Orient return to Sky Bet League Two action on Saturday, September 18 when they take on Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Ground (3pm).
