Northampton Town v Leyton Orient – Sky Bet League Two – Sixfields Stadium – Report
Northampton Town 1-0 Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient’s eleven-match unbeaten sequence drew to a conclusion after this hard-fought battle of the Sky Bet League Two play-off contenders at Sixfields.
Tom James, Aaron Drinan and Theo Archibald went close for the O’s during the opening period. However, they were undone when Sam Hoskins profited from close range after Max Dyche had flicked on.
Leyton Orient now turn their attention to the Papa John’s Trophy where they face MK Dons at the Breyer Group Stadium on Tuesday, November 30 (7pm). The O’s then host Tranmere Rovers in an Emirates FA Cup second round tie on Saturday, December 4 (3pm)>
