O’s stalemate

Leyton Orient v Port Vale – Sky Bet League Two – Breyer Group Stadium – Report

Leyton Orient 0-0 Port Vale

A scruffy affair at the Breyer Group Stadium saw the Sky Bet League Two points shared as play-off rivals Leyton Orient and Port Vale couldn’t find a goal between them.

Paul Smyth had the O’s best chance, firing into the rigging. Meanwhile, Orient’s Matt Young and Vale’s David Amoo were off target in a mtach of few chances and very little energy or quality.

The result left the O’s in thirteenth place, nine points off the play-off places. They return to Sky Bet League Two action on Tuesday, January 25 when Newport County visit the Breyer Group Stadium (7:45pm).
