O’s stalemate

Leyton Orient 0-0 Stevenage

Leyton Orient gave interim boss, Jobi McAnuff plenty to think about following this drab Sky Bet League Two encounter at the Breyer Group Stadium.

Former Southend United man, Ben Coker saw his dead-ball effort come back off the bar, while Dan Kemp struck a post as the sides grappled toothlessly.

Stevenage enjoyed the lions share of the opportunities, with Luke Norris twice going close.

Off the back of Saturday’s four-goal defeat at Exeter City, the clean sheet will be a welcome relief to McAnuff. However, his side remain inconsistent – a trait the former Jamaican international must correct if the East Londoners are to finish an otherwise frustrating campaign with a flourish.

Leyton Orient returns to Sky Bet League Two action on Saturday, Match 13 when Scunthorpe United visit the Breyer Group Stadium (1pm).
