Bradford City 1-0 Leyton Orient
Leyton Orient’s slender hopes of a Sky Bet League Two play-off place were all but extinguished after Callum Cooke’s late spot-kick earned Bradford City the points in an otherwise instantly forgettable encounter at Valley Parage.
This was the O’s sixth league outing without a victory. Dan Kemp went close before the interval. However, the East Londoners offered very little in the way of an attacking threat and failed to muster a shot on target during the ninety minutes.
Cooke converted after Adam Thompson was penalised for a clumsy challenge on Ollie Crankshaw. Orient slip to twelfth place as aresult – six points off the top seven. The O’s return to Sky Bet League Two action on Saturday, February 27 when they take on Tranmere Rovers at the Breyer Group Stadium (3pm).
