Pedestrian airlifted to hospital after collision in Loughton

Police are at the scene of a serious collision in Loughton and are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

Officers were called to Rangers Road shortly after 11.05am this morning, Sunday May 16, to reports that a pedestrian and silver BMW had been involved in a collision.

Members of the public assisted with first aid at the scene.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Rangers Road remains closed from the junction with Epping New Road.
