Pedestrian dies after collision in Loughton

A man seriously injured in a collision in Loughton at the weekend has died in hospital.

Police were called to Rangers Road shortly after 11.05am on Sunday (May 16) to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a silver BMW.

The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died three days later.

No arrests have been made in connection with the collision but police continue to carry out enquiries.

Anyone who saw what happened or has CCTV or dash cam footage of the incident or the moments before is being asked to come forward.
