Pedestrian injured in collision with ambulance in Basildon

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Basildon which took place late last night, Saturday February 17.

Emergency services were called to the incident in Nethermayne at the junction with Ashdon Way at about 11.45pm.

An ambulance had collided with a pedestrian, a man aged in his 50s. He was taken to hospital having sustained a number of facial injuries.

No arrests have been made and the ambulance driver is helping officers with their enquiries.
