Phillips pens new Blues deal

ATTACKING MIDFIELDER, Harry Phillips, has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Sky Bet League Two outfit, Southend United.

The 22-year-old made his Blues debut at Doncaster Rovers in January, netting from distance in a 3-1 defeat.

The deal has the option of a third-year. The player has been with the Roots Hall Stadium outfit from a young age, progressing through the Academy before catching the attention of boss, Sol Campbell.
