Right-arm fast-medium bowler, Jack Plom has put pen to paper on a new deal with Essex, keeping him at the Cloudfm County Ground until the conclusion of the 2021 season.
Having committed his foreseeable future to the club, the 21-year-old was immediately loaned to Surrey for their final ob Willis Trophy fixture against Sussex at the Oval, starting today.
Speaking to www.essexcricket.org.uk, the Basildon-born bowler enthused: “I’m really pleased to sign a new deal with Essex and I’m grateful to the club for showing faith in me.
“My playing time has been limited this year so going to Surrey is a great opportunity to get some cricket under my belt and show everyone what I can do.
“Hopefully I’m able to take full advantage of this and get some valuable experience before coming back to Chelmsford.”
