Police are appealing for information after a serious collision in Theydon Bois.
At 12:55pm on Thursday September 19, a silver Mercedes estate was driving behind a skip lorry on Abridge Road, when it was reportedly forced to swerve due to debris coming from the lorry.
As a result of the manoeuvre, the Mercedes is believed to have crossed the road and was in collision with an oncoming grey Nissan Navara truck.
The driver of the truck, a man in his 40s, suffered a serious leg injury.
Officers are keen to speak to the driver of the skip lorry and anyone else who may have witnessed the collision, or who has relevant dashcam footage.
