Police appeal following alleged assault during disturbance in Southend hotel

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault which took place inside the Shoeburyness Hotel earlier this year.

It was reported a man in his 40s was headbutted and punched by two men at around 8.50pm on February 27 following an argument.

A woman was also pushed to the ground during the incident.

It was reported that during this disturbance a large number of people inside the venue also become involved.

The first man has been described as white, in his 50s, 5ft 11ins tall, of stocky build, with short, dark hair and wearing a short jacket, trousers, and trainers.

The second man has been described as white, in his 30s, 6ft tall and slim, with a tattoo on his neck and wearing a baseball cap, a white top with ‘EA7’ across the chest and ‘EMPORIO ARMANI’ underneath it, skinny jeans, and white trainers.
