A 35-year-old man had to receive hospital treatment after he was bitten by a dog that was not on a lead while jogging in Gunpowder Park, Waltham Abbey, on Saturday November 21.

Police are looking to speak to any witnesses, particularly two women who spoke to the victim at the time.

The dog was thought to be a young German Shepherd. It was with a woman who was described as white, aged 35 to 45, with light blonde hair that was tied back.

She was around 5ft 7ins to 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build and wore dark clothing, which may have been leggings and a body warmer over a dark top.
