Police seek witnesses after incident at Southend bar

ESSEX Police has released an image of a man wanted for questioning over an alleged assault in Southend.

Officers are investigating an incident at the Revolution club in Queens Road over the weekend.

A 28-year-old man suffered cuts above his eye after reportedly being assaulted.

Police were told he had been attempting to break up a fight involving two other men.

The alleged incident occurred at around 1.40am on Saturday, November 23.

Investigators urged any witnesses, or anybody with information, to dial 101, ask for the Southend local policing team and quote incident reference number 42/186047/19.
