POLICE have released a photograph of a man they would like to speak to about the alleged sexual assault of a teenage boy on the London Underground.
The 15-year-old boy said a man sexually assaulted him twice on a Central Line train from Stratford to Leyton.
When he exited the train at Leyton station, the boy claimed the man followed him and ‘tried to engage him in sexual conversation’.
The alleged incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 28.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help their investigation.”
The man in the image, or anybody who recognises him or had other information about the alleged incident, is asked to contact British Transport Police by calling 0800 405040 or texting 61016 and quoting crime reference 640 of 28/08/19.
