Police are investigating a burglary in which cigarettes were stolen from a shop in Epping.
They were called to McColls in High Street shortly before 2.10am this morning.
Officers attempted to stop two suspects, who threatened them and left the scene in a grey Mercedes CLA.
An extensive search was carried out, with the help of a police helicopter, and enquiries are continuing.
A large quantity of cigarettes were stolen.
