THE PREMIER LEAGUE is set to resume on Wednesday, June 17, with Arsenal amongst the clubs involved in the restart.

The Gunners face Manchester City, while Aston Villa take on Sheffield United as the first of the remaining ninety-two 2019/20 season fixtures get underway behind closed doors.

A full programme of matches is scheduled to be played over the weekend of June 19/21. It is yet to be confirmed if the matches will be staged at neutral venues

Leicester City’s 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on March 9 was the last Premier League match to be staged before the COVID-19 pandemic forced the game to be suspended.

Earlier this week, clubs agreed to resume full-contact training as ‘Project Restart’ took another positive step towards top-flight football returning.

Look out for a full Premier League fixture list as well as #YellowSport updates, reports and reaction from West Ham United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and other clubs across the capital.
