Renewed appeal for witnesses to assault on teenagers in Loughton

Police are continuing to investigate an assault on two teenage boys, and want to speak to any witnesses who have yet to come forward.

They were among a group of six teenagers who were approached by a group of ten men outside New Look in High Road, Loughton, at around 7.30pm on Saturday October 3.

There was a disturbance that continued down to the crossroads and one of the victims was taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury. He is now recovering at home.

The suspects are described as white and wore dark clothing. One of them was wearing one Louis Vuitton slider shoe.

They ran off towards Loughton Underground Station.

Police wish to speak to anyone who was in the High Street or near the underground station at the time, or saw anyone running away from the High Street.

They would also like to hear from anyone with dash cam or mobile phone footage.
