Residents urged to get vaccination after COVID infections increase in Thurrock

Thurrock has seen an increase in the number of people testing positive for COVID-19.

Everyone over the age of 18 has been offered the vaccine and Thurrock Council is urging every adult in the borough to take up the opportunity as soon as possible.

Public Health England analysis has shown that having both doses of the vaccine is over 90 per cent effective against hospitalisation from the Delta variant.

You can get a walk-in appointment for a first or second COVID-19 vaccine at Stifford Clays Health Centre, Crammavill Street, Grays RM16 2AP, from 8am to 8pm on Saturday June 26.

There is no need to make an appointment, just turn up and get vaccinated.
