England 4-0 Bulgaria – Reaction

WEST HAM UNITED defender, Declan Rice, reflected upon his fourth England cap and suggested, he and his teammates, found Bulgaria fat tougher than the resounding 4-0 scoreline suggested.

Rice completed the full 90 minutes with little fuss as Harry Kane, assisted by two spot-kicks, and Raheem Sterling found the net to confirm England’s third UEFA Euro 2020 Group ‘A’ qualifying victory in as many matches.

“It was actually tough. Even though we won 4-0 I though they were well-organised in the first half and made it really frustrating for us,” the Hammers favourite explained.

“When you’ve got Harry Kane who can take penalties like that – Rashford and Sterling, who make them runs in behind, any team will find it difficult to cope with.

“In the end, we’ve come out 4-0 winners – it was a good nights work.”
