Robbery at Post Office in Tilbury

Detectives investigating a robbery in Tilbury are asking for the public’s help.

Officers responded quickly to reports of a robbery at the Post Office in Civic Square, Tilbury, at around 3pm today (Monday April 15).

It was reported that a man entered the building and was acting aggressively to the staff.

He left the location with a quantity of cash and was last seen heading towards Kelvin Road area.

The suspect is described as a white man, of medium build. He was wearing a black top with a white graphic logo, grey joggers and grey beanie with the top’s hood up. He was also wearing a blue face covering and reported to be carrying a small axe.
