Robbery at Shoeburyness store

Police are appealing for information following a robbery at a Nisa store in Shoeburyness.

Two men, both wearing face coverings, went into the shop in Ness Road at around 7.45pm yesterday (Sunday April 30) armed with a knife.

They threatened the member of staff inside and demanded cash and alcohol.

The pair made off with 10 bottles of wine but no money was taken and no-one was injured.

They have been described as being white, in their mid-to-late teens with one wearing a black hooded top, black trousers, and a mask or snood, while the other had on a red hooded top and a balaclava.
