Robbery at Waltham Abbey store

Police are appealing for information after staff at a convenience store in Waltham Abbey were threatened with a knife last night, Wednesday 25 March.

A man entered Farm Hill Convenience Store shortly at around 9.40pm and took alcohol from the shelf.

He tried to leave without paying and, when challenged by staff, produced a knife from inside his jacket.

He is described as being black, aged between 30 and 50 years old, and was of heavy build. He wore a black leather jacket, Nike trainers and a black flat cap.

He used the name ‘Brandon’ when speaking to staff. 

Anyone with information is asked to call Loughton CID on 101 quoting the crime reference number 42/46214/20.
