Robinson pens Port Vale deal

Former Southend United striker, Theo Robinson, has joined the Blues Sky Bet League Two rivals, Port Vale on a two-year deal.

Robinson left Southend at the conclusion of his contract in June. The 31-year-old frontman spent much of the last campaign on loan at Colchester United, becoming a firm favourite with the U’s support, scoring 12 times in 36 appearances for the North Essex club.

The Birmingham-born player have previously spent a short stint at Vale Park back in 2016, netting twice in 14 games for the Potteries outfit.
