Sudbury v Westcliff – Whittome Field

Bottom of the table Westcliff will need to pull out all the stops when they take on third-placed Sudbury at xxx.

Westcliff was boosted by a terrific 27-20 victory over Shelford last time out, a result which elevated them level on points with Rochford in the race to beat the drop.

Sudbury has won five of their ten matches this season, but trail leaders Colchester by a sizable seventeen points.

Oundle v Rochford Hundred – Occupation Road

Rochford Hundred face a tough task in ending their recent winless sequence when they head to promotion outsiders, Oundle on Saturday.

Hampered by injuries, Rochford have lost their last six successive matches, a run that has seen them slip into the relegation zone.

Hosts, Oundle currently occupies fourth place with five victories from their ten matches to date.

Norwich v Brentwood – North Walsham Road

Despite eventually slipping to defeat, Brentwood would have taken heart from an excellent first-half showing against leaders Southend last time out and will fancy their chances of recording a fifth win of the season when they take on bottom-of-the-table Norwich.

Brentwood currently sits in sixth place, while Norwich are rooted to the bottom with a single win from ten games to their name.

Southend Saxons v Stowmarket – Warners Bridge

Top of the table Southend Saxons will be looking to record their tenth victory on the bounce when struggling Stowmarket are the visitors to Warners Bridge.

Saxons head the pack by two points and haven’t lost since the opening day of the season when Woodford claimed a narrow success.

The home side will be confident of reaching double digits after coming from behind to see off Brentwood last time out. Saxons have also beaten their nearest rivals, Harlow and Eton Manor in recent weeks.

Thurrock v Woodford – Oakfield

Thurrock and Woodford go head-to-head in an eagerly anticipated clash at Oakfield which sees fifth-place take on third.

Thurrock recorded a 43-31 victory at Stowmarket last time out, while Woodford made ground on the leaders with a 40-24 triumph over Holt.
