A second arrest has been made in connection with the death of 32-year-old Abdi Khadar Adan in Waltham Forest on Sunday.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder today, Wednesday, August 25. He was taken to an east London police station where he remains.
Police were called at 4:31pm on Sunday, August 22 following reports of a stabbing at Lea Bridge Road, E10.
Mr Adam was treated at the scene before being transported to an east London hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
A post-mortem examination on Tuesday, August 24 confirmed the cause of death as a stab injury.
Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.
