Seen and herd

‘Rock ‘n’ Glow’ from Herd In The City has marched on over to Southend’s iconic pier to make a guest appearance at LuminoCity.

The graceful elephant, designed and decorated by Essex artist Neil Fendell, depicts an evening scene of Southend-on-Sea’s iconic seafront and will be on show in the pier’s window throughout the February half-term and LuminoCity – the festival of light event transforming Southend’s landmarks this month.

‘Rock ‘n’ Glow’ is one of over 45 large elephant sculptures that will be dotted around the city from the middle of July to September, including Shoeburyness and Leigh-on-Sea, as part of Herd In The City – a free art trail created by Havens Hospices and Wild in Art, in partnership with Southend-on-Sea City Council.
