Serious collision on A13

Police were called to the London-bound carriageway of the A13 shortly after 6.15am this morning, Wednesday March 23 where a collision had occurred involving a car and a lorry at North Stifford. .

The driver of the lorry has been taken to hospital with injuries that are thought to be life-changing.

Two lanes of the A13 have now reopened to traffic and the road is expected to fully reopen at around lunchtime.
