Soccer girls to benefit from stylish kit sales

A BASILDON-BASED girls youth football club is set to benefit from the sale of a stylish playing shirt, designed for the Women’s Football Supporters’ organisation.

CK Basildon’s youngsters delivered a swift and impressive response when the WFS requested clubs to describe in fifty words why they would sport their impressive quarter design shirt for the 2020/21 season.

“Miskits – an innovative new brand of football team wear, specifically designed for girls – surprised us with an impressive design of our new shirt and offered to market it for one week, advising that they would give the profit back to female football,” a Women’s Football Supporters’ spokesperson told Yellow Sport.

“They suggested that the profit could go to providing a girls team with a kit for the coming season and having put out the call to clubs to tell us why it should be them that profited CK Basildon’s reaction was the most impressive.

The WFS and Miskits decided to donate as many shirts as they could, with the club benefiting from their sale.

Miskits were delighted to help the new town outfit, explaining: “It will be fantastic to see CK Basildon wearing the Women’s Football Supporters’ kits next season.

“They are a successful team whose coach is always looking to improve all aspects of performance. The Tailored Form Design and Quick Dry Rapid Evaporation Technology will give the girls a physiological advantage over their opponents next season.

“The kits also look fantastic and I’m sure the girls will feel energised when they wear them next season.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from CK Basildon added: “The WFS are a massive organisation promoting women’s football. The girls are the best around and deserve to get the coverage that will come with the sponsorship.

“The shirts are totally unique and we did like to sound out from the crowd. The girls are itching to get back and playing in the new shirts with pride.

“We have a great partnership with the WFS and have plenty planned for the season ahead.”
