Phoenix Flames made it back to back victories in the Mixed Premier as they hammered struggling Eastwood Seconds 8-1. Despite the scoreline, four of the nine rubbers went to three games as Tim Baskett and Tracey Haylett and Ahsan Rohman and Kana Hazlewood both picked up three rubbers each for the home side. There was also a double from Andrew McMahon and Mandie Breed as they moved up to fourth. Adrian Watling and Lorene Roberts won the rubber for Eastwood.

The Eastwood Seconds also suffered an 8-1 defeat on the road at Fitzwimarc Seconds in the Mixed Premier. Mair Dew and Ryan Pinnock and Kera Lewis and Oliver Smith both secured hat-tricks for the home side with Julie Ingham and Jay Crewe bagging a brace.

Martin Rainbow and Dawn Muggleton got the point for Eastwood. They remain bottom while Fitz Seconds move into third.

Down in the Mixed Second division, Phoenix Flames Seconds continued their excellent start with another two wins. The first came away at Westcliff Thirds as Ben Bradford and Carly Horsler and Russell Dobson and Vikki Walker each secured a hat-trick with the latter not dropping a game. Rob Dunn and Tracey Carey got the other in a 7-2 win. Christina Scott and Matt Ayres and Sandy Woolacott and Phil Crabtree both picked up a point for the home team.

This was then backed up with another 7-2 win, this time at home against Fitzwimarc Thirds. Ben Bradford and Carly Horsler won a perfect three rubbers for the home side. Russell Dobson and Vikki Walker and Rob Dunn and Tracey Carey both secured two wins each to make it five wins from five. Adam Dixon-Peters and Donna Venables helped Fitz to their two points.

Fitzwimarc made it two wins from two in the Men’s Premier with a 5-4 win over Leighway. The visitors could only field two pairings giving Fitz a 3-0 lead to start. Phill Tuffee and Michael Clark and Alan Adkins and Spencer Collins both won one rubber on the night to secure the win. John Masheter and David Gotts picked up a hat-trick for the away side with David Virgo and John Gardner picking up a single victory.

In the Men’s Second division, Hawkwell Seconds returned to the top of the table with a 6-3 win against their First team. Andrew Strutt and Richard Gardner secured a hat-trick for the Seconds with Ben Gates and Keith Wood getting two victories and one won for Chris Gates and Dan Hagon. Matt Smyth and Russell Dobson won a brace for the Firsts with Alan Morriss and Gavin Lewis getting the other one as they stay in third.

Masters Premier reigning champions Fitzwimarc went top with a 6-0 win over Phoenix Flames Seconds. Marie Baker, Pam Lee, Paul Chaplin and Alan Adkins all won three perfect rubbers. Sara Thompson and Rob Dunn did the best for the visitors.

Finally, B & BP won 4-2 at Hawkwell in the Ladies First division. Jen Webb won three perfect rubbers with Emma Potter and Tamsin Collinge getting the other for the win. Heidi Paine helped the Hawks to their two points. Meanwhile, Fitzwimarc recorded a 6-0 win over Eastwood Seconds as Alicia Chu, Jenny Chu, Mandy Holland and Mair Dew made up the winning team for Fitz.
