Riverside had mixed results in the Men’s Premier as they faced both Fitzwimarc and Fitzwimarc Seconds. They faced Fitzwimarc Firsts first and were on the end of a narrow defeat at home. Alan Adkins and Phill Tuffee won all three of their rubbers for the visitors while Harris Foster-Carter and Ryan Pinnock grabbed a brace to secure victory overall for Fitz. Raff Pratheek-Badrinath and Tom Grafton picked up two rubbers for Riverside with Andy Brown and Alan Gibbens and Richard Evans and Matt Lawrence winning one each.
Four days later though when they visited Fitzwimarc Seconds, Riverside bounced back and secured a 9-0 win. Jack Webster and Matt Lawrence won a perfect three rubbers and Andy Brown and Rob Clark and Tom Grafton and Senthil Kumar also won hat-tricks. Bishnu Ale and Gary Curtis came closet to grabbing a point for Fitz Seconds. Riverside move to 9 points behind Fitzwimarc at the top while Fitz Seconds remain bottom and winless.
In the Mixed Premier, it was an all Fitzwimarc clash as the Firsts played the Seconds. The First team ran out comfortable winners in the end as they triumphed 9-0. Pam Lee and Daniel Batchelor, Marie Baker and Freddie Kemble Jones and Paul Chaplin and Natalie Smith all won three rubbers each without dropping a game, as they extend their lead at the top of the table. Sarah Hall and Oliver Smith fared best for the Seconds.
In the division below, Phoenix Flames Seconds took another step towards the title with an 8-1 win at Eastwood. Carly Horsler and Jay Clark and Kiv Gray and Danny Peach both picked up hat-tricks with Sara Thompson and Russell Dobson getting a double as they made it 5 wins out of 7 this season. Lorene Roberts and John Kindred helped Eastwood to their point.
Finally, in the Ladies Premier, Fitzwimarc moved in top spot with a 6-0 victory over Westcliff at home. Natalie Smith, Sarah Hall, Chloe Baker and Emily Hall made up the winning side for Fitz.
