ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE outfit, Southend Manor, has announced that all NHS workers will be eligible for a free season ticket for the 2020/21 season.
The Southchurch Park club, who will be celebrating their 65th-anniversary next term, have been pro-active in spreading the word, advising people not to visit Southend during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, Manor are keen to support the NHS and key workers further with their generous offer.
Media manager, Andy Wilkins, explained; “My experiences of dealing with the NHS in the past involving my family have been nothing short of greatness thanks to the remarkable staff at Southend Hospital so I’m delighted that this plan to say thank you to those who work for our great health service can be implemented during this somewhat bleak time we find ourselves in as a country and as an area in Southend.”
NHS workers interested in claiming a free season ticket can contact the club at [email protected].
Meanwhile, Manor has published regular season ticket prices for the new campaign. Adults will be able to attend all home matches for £75.00, while concessions will be admitted for £50.00. Under 16’s again go free.
Mr Wilkins adding to his statement; “Many thanks to the NHS for what they’re doing during this tough time. We remain firm supporters of Southend Hospital and the other local public health services over the coming season and during this time.”
